Welcome to Islah Quran Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By enrolling or accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, signing up for an account, or enrolling in any of our courses, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Eligibility

Our services are available to anyone of any age. Users under 16 years of age must have parental consent and an enrolling parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on their behalf.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Enrollment & Payments

  • Course fees are payable in advance for each billing cycle (monthly or annual)
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe and PayPal
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions remain at agreed rates
  • You may cancel your subscription anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month. Refunds must be requested within 7 days of your initial payment. After this period, refunds are not provided for unused classes within a billing cycle, though unused classes may be rescheduled.

6. Class Conduct

To maintain a respectful learning environment, all students and teachers agree to:

  • Treat one another with kindness, patience, and respect
  • Arrive on time for scheduled classes
  • Provide 24 hours notice for rescheduling
  • Refrain from recording or sharing classes without permission
  • Maintain modest, professional conduct on camera

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Classes cancelled with 24+ hours notice can be rescheduled at no charge
  • Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be considered taken
  • Teacher-initiated cancellations are always rescheduled at no charge
  • Missed classes (no-show) without prior notice are non-refundable

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided through Islah Quran Academy — including curriculum materials, lesson plans, recorded sessions, and website content — is the intellectual property of Islah Quran Academy. You may use these materials for personal learning but may not redistribute, sell, or publish them without written permission.

9. User Content

If you submit testimonials, reviews, or other content to our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for promotional purposes. You retain ownership of your content.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or teachers
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that don't belong to you
  • Disrupt the operation of our platform
  • Use scraping, crawling, or automated tools without consent

11. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or specific learning outcomes. Educational progress depends on the student's effort, consistency, and individual circumstances.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Islah Quran Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful conduct. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales unless local consumer protection law dictates otherwise.
